How people work
— including you.

There are basically four kinds of people, and most of us run our kind on autopilot without ever noticing. Learn to see the four, and your life — and everyone in it — starts to make a lot more sense.

Four glass spheres in four colors — the four personality types

Here's something that's kind of wild once you see it: people aren't all playing the same game. Put four people in the exact same situation — a plan falling apart, a hard conversation, a big decision — and each one will want to do something completely different, and each will be sure their way is the obvious one.

That's not people being difficult. When you were little — around three to six years old — you quietly worked out one big thing: how do I feel safe, and how do I matter? The answer you landed on became your “type.” It's really a survival strategy, and here's the important part: it's a good one. It worked. Everybody has one — nothing is wrong with you for having yours.

The only catch is that it runs on autopilot now. And a strategy you built as a little kid isn't always the best fit for the person you're becoming.

Why your type quietly runs the show

Each type is built on one core fear, which makes you chase one thing above all, which leaves you with one quiet belief about yourself. That belief shapes what you do — and what you do, over and over, shapes how your life actually goes.

So — which one are you?

That's the fun part, and it's easier to find with someone asking the right questions than by guessing from a list. A few good questions and you'll start to see your own pattern clearly. No pressure, no homework.
